Leadership Opportunities for All Students
Student Council
The Student Council functions as the student voice of St. Thomas. The purpose of Student Council is to provide students with the opportunity to develop leadership abilities and to exercise initiative by leading all-school assemblies, planning Spirit Days and other fundraising and “fun”-raising activities.
National Junior Honor Society
Seventh and eighth grade students must maintain a 3.5 G.P.A. from grade 6 through grade 8, perform an additional 10 hours of community service annually, exemplify traits of good citizenship, leadership, exhibit strong character.
Ambassador Program
Our 8th Grade students can also apply to join the Ambassador Program where they facilitate communication and outreach for Saint Thomas during open houses, tours and other events.
Buddy Program
Our 7th and 8th grade students assist our “next generation” of students on campus. Each Kindergarten student is partnered with a 7th grade student “buddy” for two years. The “buddies” accompany the Kindergarteners to Mass, join them at school parties and spirit events, and serve as a friendly face on campus.
