Principal Welcome
Thank you for your interest in Saint Thomas the Apostle School. We fully understand the importance of the decision you are making for both your child and your family. Our hope is that the information provided on this website will help you learn more about our community and encourage you to schedule a time to visit our campus.
Words cannot express the uniqueness of the Saint Thomas community. I have been a part of this community as a mother, teacher, assistant principal, and nearly a decade as the principal. I know firsthand what an amazing and special place this is, and I am excited and confident in sharing all that Saint Thomas has to offer. We look forward to meeting your family in person during a campus tour. I am sure you will walk away feeling the joy we are blessed to be of a part of everyday here at Saint Thomas.
Our primary goal is to create a faith-filled environment focused on educating the total child: mind, heart, body, and soul. For 50 years, Saint Thomas graduates have gone on to achieve great success in every stage of life. This tradition of excellence is shown in our students’ test scores as well as in the number of service hours in our Diocese. It is evidenced by the fact that the majority of our graduates gain acceptance to honors programs and the high school of their choice. Our students’ legacy in service to the community is recognized each year in the Diocesan Christian Service Award program. In the program’s nine-year history, there have been 11 Saint Thomas recipients. We are proud of our students and it is no wonder why Saint Thomas remains one of the most desirable schools in the Diocese.
Beyond our tradition of excellence, we have a tradition of a community. Saint Thomas welcomes family participation in many of the school’s daily workings and special events throughout the year. Whether it is working in the cafeteria or on the playground, coaching an athletic team or coordinating the talent show, there are many opportunities for everyone to enrich each individual and contribute to the overall community experience.
Christ’s Blessings,
Mary Coffman, M. Ed.
